I grew up in Suffolk which was where my love for big skies and beautiful coastlines really developed. I like to capture the different moods, the rapidly changing light and weather.

These days I could not live further from the coast, but getting out with my camera will always take me to my 'happy place'. In fact I do not have to travel very far before I am making pictures and losing track of time.  It is often easier to leave the camera at home if a full walk is planned otherwise I'd never finish it!

I enjoy the whole process of picture making, from the initial taking stage through to processing and printing all my own work.  I currently use a Fuji XT3  which I love as it is so intuitive to use.  I also have a Fuji XT1 infrared converted camera which opens up a whole new world when it comes to black and white images.

Over recent years I have also photographed the west coast of Scotland, the rugged coastline and the beauty of the Hebridean Islands and beaches. I love landscape and creative photography and focusing on the more intimate details of the natural world. 

I belong to two photography clubs in Worcestershire where I am based and am a member of The Royal Photographic Society (RPS).  A personal goal is to now work towards gaining a Licentiate  distinction with the RPS - a project is always a good way to concentrate the mind and develop!
